Title: Mikuni VM 28 float level adjustment Mikuni manual page 12
Post by: Bob Wood on June 30, 2016, 12:54:34 PM
Is it just me or is the Mikuni Manual page 12 a little confusing?  I look at mine and the 17mm was from the chamber baffle plate( higher than the rib location.  So my setting is really high. It should measure from the carb opening (casting) to get the 15-17mm. Mine came this way from the factory...

Am I looking at this right?

The setting is measured from the rib...

Said rib is .3mm or 11 thou. high.  The "H" (for height) is on its side in the drawing, and is not clear how the dimension is to be measured point to point.

This video doesn't have your numbers but has the right method...
