Grant, great article. 300 Km, quite a trip! Long time in the seat. I like the re-purposed stubby cooler, what we call a coozy, and normally use to keep our beer cold. Shows resourcefulness, a requirement for building an Eagle, I think.

Hey Tom the beer cooler got its name many years ago here, as we did have glass beer bottle called "stubbies"
The next big trip in 11 months if all goes well will be 700 km (480m) each way - i feel for any of the guys that fly their eagles from TX to osh
and back - ive done it 3 times from Taylor TX - once in a beech 18 and other two in F1 Rockets - dam thats along way.

Mine said the same - but does do the odd perfect weather local flight
she signed of on new fuse so was not as windy, im winning
