This is me in my XL.  My head is pretty close to the rear bar cluster.  I feel like im sitting too high in the seat.  Any opinions on this?  Would an extra row or two on the seat be a big deal?

I think the only thing you need to worry about is the bottom of the seat clearing the control tube that runs under it.  I know I had to adjust mine a bit is I had initially put way to much of a curve on the back of the seat tube, made it feel like I was sitting in a recliner.

Assuming you were thinking of making the long aluminum strips a bit longer?

MY seat was too short on my LEU so added length to my long straps and all is well... this was some years ago... Like it was said, just make sure the seat does not contact anything underneath! MY control tube ended up below the fuselage tubes...

Looking at your picture and trying to get a sense of how I might fit, how tall are you and how much do you weigh?
