Title: Cheap slip indicator?

Would this work as a slip indicator?   Its cheap at $13/ea.

Why not make one yourself for a few dollars?

Check out RV levels.  many have the steel ball. Some you might have to mount upside down.  I found one at under $9.00.  don't know what shipping would be, though.
