Title: Compliant Bicycle Wheels
Post by: LSaupe on July 24, 2018, 05:01:33 PM
For those using solid suspension... have any of you used compliant bicycle wheels?  Would have to check the weight delta, but it might be a neat option to look at.  Couple options here.

Interesting idea...

The really big difference between wheel requirements for a plane and a bike still apply though: the plane requires lateral rigidity much greater than the bike. So where a bike can run a narrow hub the plane needs a much wider hub to increase the side load capability. I wonder how these would do with side loading?
