Title: Fuselage weight and aluminum wings

New here, Does anyone know the fuselage weight?
Has anyone substituted another airplanes all aluminum wing?

This guy appears to have literally bought a set of Kolb (Firefly?) wings and put them on:

And this thread by experts appears to suggest NOT trying to mod this for aluminum or make up your own aluminum wing (go with a known-good engineered wing, like Kolb or maybe even a Hummel ultra-cruiser?

For reference, each original LE XL wing with everything (controls, covering, ready to fly) is 27 pounds.

Fuse weight is more subjective. It depends... what all is included?  Anywhere from 35 to 75 lbs, according to some posts here:

Agree with part of your description. Appears the guy bought a set of Kolb wings. but I wish he showed us how he put them on. 
How was the single spar fitted to and then strut braced to a twin spar design. The old square peg round hole conundrum. 
Details, details. Looking at Kolb images online I see single strut and twin strut designs.
