Title: Laser cut aileron nose ply sheet rubber banded forms

I CAD designed and then laser cut these 1/4" plywood forms up to help with with wet forming and gluing of my right wing aileron. They really hold the ply to the shape!

As always, I am willing to pass them on when I am done with them. From the lack of past responses for free stuff I give away, I'll probably have to toss them.
(Except for you Kevin!).

Don't toss them. PM me when/if you want to get rid of them and I'll gladly pay shipping. May have to give me a bit to reply as I'm not building (yet) so I'm not on here every day. I was given a set of XL plans and some other things by someone who changed direction on what they were going to build and I just purchased the DE plan/video package so I'm getting ready.

Thanks Jerry, This is what a forum should be! each willing to help each other. activity on here is low but the ones that do respond are helpful. By the way, I would still like to see more input on engine combos and carb settings. Dan set up a section to collect carb info but we have yet to see any input.

Top job mate they look very good it is a great thing to be able to pass things on to others to help them out and make it a little easier in what ever they do.... cheers to you and thanks

You make me remember why I joined this forum! I want to get help from other members and pass on anything I can to help also.
Here's The latest pic. More to come....  I should have my right wing ready to cover next week. The weather here in northern Ohio is very slowly beginning
to get to look like spring. I can't wait to get the fuselage out of it's winter mothballs and do the remaining 10 to 15 hours of work it needs.
I am projecting the first two weeks of June for the maiden flights. I also have been putting together giant scale RC planes for the summer season.

Hey guys,
Here are enough aileron nose pieces for both ailerons. boxed and ready to ship
if anyone wants them. I had some extra time last night and cut them out of 5.2mm (.204) Birch ply.
I add the "V" Leonard recommends in his video for an alignment string across the top. Worked great for me.
They can also be used as templates for the wire cut foam pieces.
