Title: Stainless or Mild Steel Exhaust?
Post by: Kamcoman77 on December 17, 2019, 09:07:36 PM
Is anybody using Stainless Steel for their exhaust tubing, or is regular steel tubing working OK?

I read, (location somewhere, deep within the bowels of the forum), one fellow who found stainless bath rails at Home Depot which were the perfect size. Interesting source.

The chrome 1-1/4" J-bends work great, Use a exhaust flange with a hole just large enough to let the J-bend pass. Aluminum flanges work good.  Save about 1.5 lbs on the 1/2VW

Hi Les. I'm having difficulty sourcing a suitable flange for the 1-1/4" chrome tube. Are you making these yourself or do you know a source? Thanks. -Chet
