Title: Protecting my jig from T-88
Post by: Curious on December 09, 2021, 07:05:54 PM: I saw in some video that I watched that there is a tape that can be put on surfaces that T-88 won't stick to. Does anyone know what it is?

Post by: 914pete on December 10, 2021, 11:28:21 AM: Costco sells a Parchment paper $10 I have yet to find anything that sticks to it. Its transparent. I laid a piece of that over my rib plan/jig and then screwed all my blocks down. Built all my ribs without having to replace the paper and never had an issue with the ribs sticking to the jig and saved my rib plan. It was also very useful when assembling the wings. The roll is plenty big enough to cover my whole work table too but rather then doing that I just cut 30 or so squares of the parchment paper and put one under any glued area I knew could drip or run over night. Nothing stuck to my work table. I just kept re-using the original squares because the T-88 would just flake off them.

Post by: DA Miller on December 17, 2021, 03:41:56 PM: I think I used saran wrap on my rib jig. Wax paper is handy when building the wings. Just tear off a piece and put it under the joint to be glued.
