Title: Black max brakes
Post by: Jeff XL79 on July 15, 2024, 09:06:07 AM
When I assembled my brakes it seems that I'm missing something.  The caliper assembly hits the lugs of the hub when it rotates. Just guessing that the washers have something to do with it.  Do both large washers go on the side of the caliper?

Figured it out.  Black max sent me 3/4 " calipers. The BX1000 kit uses 5/8" axels. I called black max and sent them some pictures.  We'll see what they say.  I bought these over 5 years ago so they don't owe me squat but like I said, we'll see what they do.

Black max agreed to exchange the calipers and send me the correct 5/8" calipers.  Thanks to them for the support.

Black Max came through.  I received the exchange calipers.  Even though the brakes had been purchased years ago they exchanged them without any question.
Thanks again Black Max!
