Is it safe to use a simple aluminum tab on elevator to ease stick pressure

I can't imagine why not..or you can lower the front of the stab.

First thing I did was to lower front of stab 1/4 inch. Did nothing to ease aft stick pressure. Also I have 3 or so pounds lead in tail. Just added trim tab to right elevator and pretty much has corrected the problem. Now I’m learning a tab on one side is not a good idea as you get dissimilar loads at the elevator connection fitting. My next move is to add a left side tab, bend them both to match each other with the correct trim. Also plan to replace the 3/16 Clevis pins in the center control arm fitting to 1/4 inch as over six seasons of flying they have gotten a bit loose.
