I have all the tail feather structures built for my XL. The stabilizer ended up little wide , and I had to increase the width of the fin about an inch to clear. The plans call for 28", I had to make mine 29". Glad I checked that before I built the fin. Going to look for local sheet metal guy to help me out, as I don't have my brake here in MO. I managed to bend the ribs for the stabilizer and the fin, but it took some patience with out the proper tools . Looked all over the big box store for SS rivets, but ended up buying them from McMaster Carr., I was surprised just how light and rigid the aluminum with gussets structures turned out. Today I will try making the rudder horn.

The first rib in your horizontal stabilizer is backwards on one side. Is this a test?
