Title: SS rivets

Curious why you would use SS rivets on .020 aluminum ribs. I can see using them on the steel hinge & gusset to the main frames, but the ribs will be much weaker than a couple of 1/8" aluminum rivest I would think. I can see they would be subject to shear if they were not under compression from the  fabric.  Then you don't have as much as a corrosion problem to worry about.

I used steel rivets from the aviation aisle of the local Lowes.
