Go Pro have pounced on Les... 5 cameras.  Should get some nice video.  If a prop gets planted, there well be evidence.

Beautiful day at Oshkosh today. Didn't seem to be as many airplanes here this year. Meet my friend from Down Under NZ, introduced him to Leonard. He is building the XL. Had a nice chat with several Eagle builders, and nice visit with Steve and Scott, both worth their weight in Eagle knowledge.  Leonard sure has a sweet heart with Donna, very nice lady, and so was her friend.
Bride and I had a fun day, but thought the food was a little pricey, slice of pizza 8 bucks! ;D

I plan about $100/day if you stay inside the fence and camp there.

Paid for tickets and parking online,  had a hundred bucks in my pocket and a full tank of gasoline, came home with 40 bucks. Not to bad. Tickets and parking about 85 dollars, no longer EAA member, but got Vet discount.

Well Denise and I have experienced our first AV. What a blast. It was like going to college in the morning, (Different workshop every day), with a sideshow going on all the time. Didn't feel like I hardly scratched the surface in 4 days of morning to night tromping around. Sad that I didn't see Les or Scott fly>:(. Great to meet everyone in person and see Leonard do a great standup routine at his B-day party. Thanks to everyone we met for the camaraderie.

I, too, had a great time meeting some of the folks on this forum, but missed a bunch of you.  Too much to see, not enough time to spend at the Eaglers encampment.  Wish I could have attended Leonard's dinner.  Anyone have pics of that?

Les's airplane was fitted with a bunch of GoPro mounts, so I hope some good video gets released from that.

Maybe one of these years we can get an example of every Eagle model in one place.  That would be a highlight of the "farm", wouldn't it?

One thing seemed to be different.  Group did not seem to be as "scruffy" as in the past.  Not sure why, maybe somebody was missing.  Any ideas?
