Scott, that high speed pass had me gripping the armrests - almost broke em off!!
Looks good, speed seems higher the lower you go.
I do 3-point landings mostly in DE Stubby - it's hard to lower that nose - seems like the prop is gonna hit.  I need to practice.

Tom,

I guess when dealing with the L/E's high speed in really not the correct term. I'll send you a seatbelt to bolt to your arm chair.

Les,
I can get more in level flight but don't let it. I can probably use a longer prop or one with different pitch. This is a Tennessee 54x24

It is amazing the difference in props. I am testing a 55x24 from Frank, and in normal straight and level only to get to about 3460, no tmuch more headed down hill.

Les,

with the longer prop I bet you are getting more thrust ??

The trust during ground run test is less than the tenn 58x20 but it gets off the ground in less distance, out climbs and out runs the tenn 58x20.

What Les says is why static thrust is not a good indicator of flight performance.

Les, and Tom,

Sounds like the58x20 is the right prop. Franks props are beautiful. I need to dump my Tennessee and ask Santa for a F. Johnson Prop for Christmas.
