Finally got uploaded to youtube. First video from Monument Vally Utah, Gouldings Airport, Field Elevation 5,200 msl, density altitude over 6,300 feet, runway length 3,400 feet. Take off 34, land 16, no go rounds. Max. altitude 7,721 and still climbing.

That's awesome Les! I remember you telling me you were going to do that trip when I came down to have a look at your Eagles in Oakdale. You made it----Great!
I just started putting my ribs together out here in Guam a couple months ago. It's been fun so far.

Well Les, you have covered quite a few bases with this one.
First of all, a great video shot in an exotic locale. I made the same flight in my RV-6 (http://home.hiwaay.net/~sbuc/journal/west_trip.html) several years ago and enjoyed watching your take on this magnificent scenery.
So much for the standard line that Legal Eagles won't fly higher than sea-level.
But most of all, congratulations on sticking with your dream until you realized it. Your sense of accomplishment came through loud and clear in your closing comments. You will never again look at that little red plane without recalling where it has flown.
