i just finished glueing the first front spar up and realized I probably screwed up. I made the height exactly the same as the front of the wing rib. I've read you need to make the spar shorter by the thickness of the leading edge skin so it will flush out with the rib. I haven't cut the 10 deg angle on the top spar cap yet. Looks like I have two options , either plane the 10 deg angle down enough to get the clearance or just feather sand the leading edge skin so the covering will lay flat. Any suggestions!

I ran the nose ply@ 1 1/4 past the spar out onto the ribs and then trimmed. back flush to spar between ribs and angled at ribs to form a gusset over rib.I thought it tied things together better.

Looks like that might be a solution. Was there plenty of material to do this if you bought what was on the material list?
