Materials Kit
« on: January 12, 2023, 06:41:53 PM »
Hi All, Just gave my 88 year old father a set of XL plans for Christmas and he is excited to get started on the wing.  I'm going to do the metal work, and motor.  I got super excited about the materials kit listed on page 82 of the plans as clicking "add to cart" 147 times at Aircraft Spruce would likely give me carpel tunnel or something......  I have emailed John Bolding, and dialed what appears to be a disconnected number a couple of times with les than positive results.  Does anyone know if John maybe entered the witness protection program?  Does anyone have the number for his Special Agent in Charge?  Am I stuck with 147 clicks at Aircraft Spruce, or is there a better way?  Thanks in advance! Jon

John Bolding has stopped selling materials kits & welded fuselages. Probably best to call Leonard Milholland and ask him if he knows anyone who might decide to start selling kits. Suggest you also start reading the Legal Eagle Ultralight Facebook page. There is a lot of info there and several planes/parts for sale by builders.
