Wood questions
« on: September 16, 2014, 08:01:07 PM »
Hi all

I think this question has been answered, but I can't find it. It relates to the cap strips.
Out of the list I have, 4 of the parts have the width and thickness reversed from what I see offered. Is this a problem, or is it ok to order that way?
What I mean is the part list may reference a piece 3/4" wide and 1" thick, but when I try to find the part, it is only listed as 1" wide and 3/4" thick.

One other short question. As far as plywood goes, is birch/basswood acceptable? It costs a bit more, but is lighter. So as long as it is acceptable and glues well with T-88 I will go with that.

I expect to get my landing gear done soon, so I'll post some photos.

Thanks

Pete

I hope it makes no difference cause I ordered mine regardless of which number came first.
