are some specs known?
« on: June 15, 2015, 07:04:34 AM »
If possible, I would like to know the centerline-to centerline width of the landing gear, you know, the distance between the mlg mains as viewed from in front of the airplane...also, if possible to obtain.....the fwf weight max allowance........This CABIN EAGLE is starting to consume me!!! Leonard, this will be the epic aircraft design that you have offered!!! Homebuilts are the "bomb" because most of us are disgusted with carbon-fiber "CUB" replicas that cost $160K, and people that want $25k for a runout Cheif,or Taylorcraft. I have evn given up on using my A65 (a spare kept from my Aeronca) simply because rebuild costs are STAGGERING! (and I am a retired A&P). I REFUSE to pay $1200-1500 for a .20-.20 crank  thats older than me, and still have to hand prop....the beauty of this design lies in its UTILITY..........low fuel-burn,folding wings, trailerable, cheap to build!! Make LOTS of building plans Leonard....I think you will need them........
