Weight savings with new Battery
« on: September 28, 2017, 06:49:32 PM »
So I've been interested in the Lithium Iron battery. So far they look like a Great way to save 8+ pounds. Yes, 8 pounds.

The particular battery in question is a Scorpion Stinger 12v 507CCA. it's weight is 2.75lbs, this will replace a 10 + lbs battery i was going to use.

The Lithium Iron Phosphate is more stable than the Lithium ion and apparently doesn't have the tendency to turn into a fireball if over charged.

Thoughts?
