I saw this today while looking for an engine for another project. I know it's probably too heavy for the LE and reliability would be a major concern, but I'm impressed at the horsepower and torque numbers they are getting out of this little v-twin!

I poked around a bit,  with the name including 670, and the looks, it would seem that it has ties with the Honda 670, but I couldn't find the weight.

But that being said, GX670 engine Cylinder bore is 77.0 mm (3.0 in) and piston stroke is 72.0 mm (2.8 in), compression ratio rating is 8.3:1. The GX670 engine produced 24 HP (17.7 kW HP) of horsepower at 3,600 rpm and 50.8 N·m (5.18 kg·m, 37.5 ft·lb) of torque at 2,500 rpm.  

Just doing simple math, it would seem, unless the HP curve really gets going up, that 28-29 HP might be in order at 4300rpm.  Of course many things can be changed to really change the HP, but reliability seems to suffer because of the mods.
  
 Then again, this might be totally unrelated to the 670# Stranger things have happened.

It is a clone of the Honda 670 engine. The predator line of engines are manufactured in china for Harbor Freight. They rate it at 22 HP stock, and claim it weighs 106 Lbs. I'm not sure if that is shipping weight or installed weight. Performance 670 takes these motors and installs billet rods, different cam, carburetor, and does some voodoo on the heads to get the 43 Hp @ 4700 rpm. I have no idea how reliable this combo would be, but like any motor, if you only need the power intermittently and could keep it under 22 hp output most of the time, it should last as long or longer than the stock motor. I don't know if I would want to fly behind one, but it would be fun to put it on an airboat and thrash it to see how it holds up! Here's the HP/Torque curve. Pretty impressive with 43 peak hp and about 48 Lb/ft of torque from 3500-4700 rpm

I am looking at this also. A hummel Ultra Craft is using one in its airplane. I saw it at the Hummel gathering video while going through videos recently. I have heard comments that it can get down to 84 lbs with electric start after modifications. For hummel 84 is around the number. I also have plans for a legal eagle and if it is so it would be really nice due to the fact I could use short take off here at the house.

Briggs are said to have better rods and pistons out of the box.  Cars and Cameras and Red Beards garage on Youtube have blown many Predators up.  The way they run them is not even close to how you would operate one on an airplane however.

Briggs and Predators have many aftermarket parts available...  The most consequential one for weight savings being a billet aluminum flywheel.

I have a lawnmower here with 2,000 hrs on the Kohler engine.  I start it up and run it for hours at a time @ 7/8ths throttle.
