Here is a mount for a cut case by James Weibe (Ultra Cub).  It was for sale for 300 bux, dunno now.  It looks mig welded to me and cold mig at that.  Maybe the kit was un-welded.

I have read that Scott Casler mentions a Global engine mount but that has upper lugs cast in like vw and all different looking oil pan casting.  It would appear the Global would need a steel plate fabricated to go across the lower front of the engine.  See attachment.  Otherwise it would be a lot easier without those
intake tubes going down to the Zenith carb.  You might look at the Corvairs as well.

Just a couple random pics for ideas. How does one decide the tubing geometry for a strong engine mount?

One becomes an engineer...  Or copies something that has proven airworthy.

Force travels in straight lines.  Therefore avoid bends and triangulate coming off clusters where possible.

Attached are pics of the William Wynne designed corvair bed mount.  Many are flying I assume.  The bushings are urethane car suspension parts.  The spools in the square tubing appear to be compatible with the angles mounted to the sides of the case in the previous post by jrbirdman...

Pics were snatched here:
