Temps
« on: December 28, 2025, 04:50:28 PM »
Briggs and Stratton 23hp Vanguard. On the spark plug with a temp gun im seeing about 225* at idle and about 260* at 3600rpm. This is with no load on the motor and a powerful fan setting directly in front of it. Do these temps sound about right? At 3600rpm the temp seems like it would keep climbing a little but i throttle it down at about 260* then it cools back down to 225* ish.

What engine is this?  Seems a bit of context would be helpful since I've not been following your other threads.
