Hey Guys, I’m attempting to position the fairleads for the elevator cables at the moment. I can get the elevator to work with two on the UP cable and just one on the DOWN cable, but the cables will rub together when aileron is applied.
How many fairleads have you guys used? I’m trying to keep the cables running dead straight into the torque tube under the seat.
On my Zenith 701, the factory solution to this problem is to attach a bungee to one elevator cable and pull it to one side slightly. It’s crude, but it works.
