Sea Level Mikuni VM28 Jetting
« on: October 28, 2026, 04:40:30 AM »
I am assisting a friend that has two VM 28s on his Mosler CB 40. From what I can tell, they are off the shelf, with the jets that came in them. (200 Main and 60 pilot) of course, it does not run that great and the plugs are way sooty black, as expected. From my many years of messing with carbs, I know what I need to do, but don't want to spend $150 for a hand full of pilot and main jets. Can anyone tell me what they are running on the pilot and mains at sea level? We are at 17ft msl. Thanks, in advance
