I'm using the Carlson lift struts and was wondering what you guys are doing for interior corrosion protection.

Nothing on XL-58. I assumed the interior surface has the same anodized finish as the exterior.

I guess I didn't realize they were anodized!

I looked on the Carlson web site and could find no mention of them being anodized.  Mine don't look anodized.  Perhaps they've changed since you ordered yours?

I thought I had seen at one time that they were anodized, but I can't find evidence of that now.

6061-T6 is resistant to corrosion even when the surface is abraded. My plane stays dry...I'm confident the struts will be fine long after I'm gone.  :)

I suspect your right.  I don't think I'll do anything major to coat the inside.  Maybe some ACF-50.
