Check on that right rudder cable there. Looks like the peddle hit the floor.
Looks nice.

we were talkin the diff fabric options a while back; especially about latex and costs. i just bought all the Polyfiber to do this one. 2.7 oz fabric, all the diff coatings thru Polytone, glue, reinforcing tape, finishing tape, rib stitch cord etc etc. 903 + shipping. call it 1000$. oughta be near the same for a DE, less for the little ones

yeah.
the other wide angle effect is those feet arent near that big either. look about size 20s. that was with a gopro hero3 set for stills at Medium for the focal length. need to set it on narrow and move the cam back a ways
should get the rest of the finishing tapes on there tomorrow and maybe start spraying Polybrush and Polyspray.

thanks for the kind comments you boys are sweet
there are a lotta things i would do diff...like curve the longerons in aft of the wing for a more antiquey look. and llose a little weight too. but i didnt like that look at the time i laid out the fuse. but to me now it looks like it would have looked better; more streamlined, lighter looking, not quite so slab sided and probably better xwind handling. it could still be done take probably a couple weeks; have to cut out a bunch of diagonals and reposition. maybe next year think i'll just get it going for now. theres other prototype type warts here and there too but the thing should work. may look better when get that dark gray primer painted silver same as the fuse.

I think it looks real good. Maybe not antique but at least a vintage look. Nice and solid looking. I'm sure you built in more refinements than the so-called warts.
Thought I better throw in some sweetness, too.

Hey spencer!
I hope all is well.
Is This New Thing (TNT) flying yet? You aren't wasting your time on the computer lately so there should be some progress.

Mr. Spencer,
The lowered longerons on your bird remind me of the five place Maules.
They raised the longerons through the aft of the cabin to give that poor fifth fellow some head room.
