SCARFING JOINTS/ HOMEMADE SCARFING SLED
« on: August 20, 2016, 02:57:42 PM »
Hey fellas,  looking for a way to make nice scarf joints in plywood I came across this video on YOUTUBE.   Looks like a good answer to me.   Hope you find it helpful.

Here is a very straight forward way to do it...    Sandpaper glued to a stick.  Attached.

Hello, Dan,   are you using the 15:1 scarfing ratio?

The simplest ways work best!   Thanks

1/8 inch thick plywood and scarf is 1 inch wide.  So a 8:1 ratio.  For 15 to one the scarf would need to be 1 7/8".
