Newb looking to build

Hello I'm very interested in building a legal eagle xl trying to get all info I can before diving in. I'm in ca heard there was a legal eagle being built at the Lincoln airport would love to talk with local builder if possible

I'm in the same boat as you. I've been watching a lot of youtube videos, flying, building, walk arounds, etc. I'm pretty curious about estimated build times.

Hi AgFlyer, sounds like you are in NorCal somewhere around Sac. I'm in Woodland, and like you want to build the LEXL. I have ordered the plans and they should be here any time now. My best buddy has an RV-6 at Lincoln. I will ask him if he knows about a Legal Eagle over there. There is also a gang of them down at Rio Vista, O88. These birds just look like some old school flying fun, without the big bucks being spent. After two much more serious airplane projects, this looks like a piece of cake to build.

Yes they look like good fun I'm going to order plans as well let me know what you find out about builder in Lincoln I'll have to stay in touch as we build
