Bud Evans VP I
« on: August 20, 2018, 03:47:03 PM »
I feel sure there are quite a few EAA members here, so, I just thought some of you would like to know. 2018 makes 50 years since Mr. Evans introduced the VP I and later the VP II.  On the EAA forum someone has asked if anyone would like to see Bud Evans inducted into the Homebuilt Hall of Fame. It was stated that there is no, "HOF" email address but to send your vote or suggestion to ;  membershipeaa.org . I did and got a generic response stating my email had been received. So, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it !
Oh, you have to give them your EAA member # !

Thanks, Bob, for the plug.  I submitted the nomination to induct Bud Evans into the EAA Homebuilders Hall of Fame and received a message back from Charlie Becker at EAA saying that it would be considered for 2019 as the deadline for nominations each year is in March.  Any EAA members who would like to weigh in, please just send a brief message of support to membership@eaa.org including your membership number and ask that it be passed to Charlie Becker and the nomination committee.  Thanks!  Cheers, Matthew
