ALL Eagles have the same ribs
« on: December 31, 2020, 02:30:16 PM »
In case you were wondering, as I was.  The same rib jig will work for all Eagles, per my Email from Leonard today.  This came up for me when I was offered a LE-XL rib jig, but started to think maybe I really wanted to build a Double Eagle or Cabin Eagle (folding wings!).  The two place airplanes have wider forward spars, so the aft rib gets shorter, but same airfoil profile, overall chord, thickness.

This is awesome to know! I just bought plans for the XL and CE and was hoping to only make one jig!
