1835 vs. 1915 for double eagle

Any experiences or opinions regarding these two vw engine sizes. I assume more is better but hopefully without any extra issues. Thanks in advance for any input.

Leonard likes the 1835 cylinders, because of the thicker walls.  They are less likely to take a square shape if very hot due to the 4 bolts that hold the cylinder heads...
