Rudder horn rivets
« on: Today at 10:38:53 AM »
I’m ready to finish the rudder, just need to rivet the horn to the 1/2” angle.
I’m not sure if the longer rivets that came in John B’s kit are long enough.
I did a trial with some scrap 1/8” plate and.062 angle.
Does the pulled end look fat enough?
Thanks…

If the broken off piece of mandrel is still tightly encapsulated in the rivet, it should be fine.
