For those of you that are a little nervous about hand propping your 1/2 VW, Scott Casler has developed a front mounted starter kit that bolts on, without removing the prop hub or distributor. I just made a test installation on my engine and once I get the correct, longer prop bolts & wire it, I'll be ready for some test runs.
